This contract shall be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom & shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. Please ensure you read & understand these before placing an order &, quite simply, if you do not accept these conditions please do not use this website.
ORDERS
I accept worldwide orders & by placing an order for the purchase of goods from GIG.INK & the subsequent issue of an acceptance email sent by GIG.INK confirming your order, you enter a contractual agreement with me bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
PAYMENTS
Payments are accepted through PayPal, as it is a safe & widely accepted method of payment for worldwide purchases via the Internet. PayPal accepts all major credit & debit cards & you do not need a PayPal account in order to make a payment using their service. Your transactions are protected by PayPal’s highly sophisticated fraud-prevention system. In completing your order, you will be directed to Paypal’s website, either to log in to your account or if you don’t have an account enter your billing information. You will then authorise the payment via your account or card of choice, & be returned to this site, where you will confirm your order.
RETURNS
All my products are ‘bespoke goods’ produced personally by me solely for you, & as such are subject to the strict guidelines as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. ‘Bespoke Goods’ states that ‘bespoke’ items are non-returnable & non-refundable. Due to the timescale involved in producing ‘bespoke’ items, GIG.INK will provide a 24-hour cooling off period from the time that your order is placed, but after this time has elapsed production will begin & the right to cancel will be removed. This will not affect your statutory rights with regards to damaged or faulty goods, plus as an artisan & glorified one-man band who takes great pride in my work I am fully accountable & contactable should you ever need.
YOUR IMAGES
All uploaded images are treated as ‘User Content’ & all users must have the right to use their User Content & ensure that it does not infringe anyone’s copyright; infringe any other rights such as trade marks; be false, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, abusive, threatening or defamatory. I cannot control & do not monitor or pre-screen the use of this website & am not responsible for such User Content images. I may without notice delete any User Content which appears to breach these rules.
MY IMAGES
You acknowledge that all copyright, trade marks, & other intellectual property rights in & relating to GIG.INK (including, without limitation, our library of images & User Content created by other users other than you) are owned by, or licensed to, me. You may use & access my online designer & the images contained within only to the extent required for the use of the Services in accordance with these Terms, & for the purpose that I make them available. No-one may copy, distribute, show in public or create any derivative work from GIG.INK, or any of my material & images unless properly licensed to do so by me. You are not allowed to use any of my material or images (or to copy or use any material & images found on my websites) for any commercial purpose other than to conduct the purchase of a Product from GIG.INK.
Alas, due to repeated attempts to counterfeit my plate designs I simply do not sell to or ship to China.
COPYRIGHT
By uploading or transmitting User Content, you expressly grant to me a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to produce your plate order & to distribute & communicate to the public that User Content via my website & social media. For the avoidance of doubt, I will NEVER commercially exploit your User Content by creating & selling my own plates bearing your images – they are your images, not mine – but I reserve the right to use your User Content as promotional material on my website & social media sites to illustrate my products.
RESTRICTIONS
Any person using this website is permitted to print individual website pages for non-commercial purposes. Users may also print minimal copies of any research or reports posted on the site solely for informational, non-commercial use. These copies must not alter the original website content, including all legal notices & legends. My prior permission is required for (i) any commercial use of materials on this website; (ii) making more than minimal copies of website materials; & (iii) copying large portions of my website, such as by bots, robots or spiders that ‘harvest’ the website.
OWNERSHIP
All content included on this website, such as graphics, logos, articles & other materials, are the property of GIG.INK or others & is protected by copyright & other laws. All trademarks & logos displayed on this website are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with myself & GIG.INK.

I am not responsible for any damages or injury, including but not limited to special or consequential damages, that result from your use of (or inability to use) this website, including any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation, computer virus, line failure, or other computer malfunction. THE LAW
These Terms & each order & purchase of a Product shall be governed by English law. You & I each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to disputes arising in connection with these Terms, the Services & any order for or purchase of a Product.
GIG.INK may change the Privacy Policy & Terms & Conditions from time to time, based upon any changes to my website & my users’ experience on it.
