THE SCRATCH-IT! HOMAGE TO THE ICONIC HUMMINGBIRD GUITAR

Here is my take on the infamous Gibson & Epiphone Hummingbird icon, & in an effort to offer something visually similar yet realistically priced, I’ve worked closely with an aficionado & am proud to offer my own SCRATCH-IT! homage plates which can fit ANY acoustic guitar – ooh – along with the following options:

– Subtle tort background for that classic look

– Plain black background for a contemporary look

Simply select your preferred colours along with what make & model of guitar you have, then hit the ADD TO BASKET button & follow the prompts & I’d expect to have a hi-res PDF visual & template Emailed to you within a couple of days – so do ensure you check your inbox & shout if you haven’t received anything within three days – & your new finished plate winging its way to you within two weeks of receiving your approval to proceed to production.

Now, what about these options – what do they actually mean?

MODEL = THE PARTICULAR FLAVOUR OF YOUR GUITAR

If you have an original Gibson or Epiphone we have a great starting point, as I have those templates on file, but if yours is different then we will need to check fit & potentially adjust the plate shape to ensure a perfect fit for your particular model, so this option is £10.00 more expensive to cover this process.

So in a nutshell, if yours is listed – simply select it. Nice.

If yours ISN’T listed or you’re unsure exactly what make & model you have, select:
UNLISTED
In this case I will Email you a generic template for you to print & check for fit, & if it doesn’t fit you can mark the changes required on the template & either scan or post it back to me to amend the design & cut plate shape  to ensure you receive a plate that fits your particular guitar perfectly. Oh yes. Nice.

PLEASE NOTE although visually very similar, my plates are produced by bonding full-colour printed vinyl to the rear of clear acrylic & then laser cut, so are essentially single ply with straight edges & are completely smooth, flat & glossy – so offers a relatively pain-free way to get the look of real mother of pearl in your life without having to have very deep pockets.
